Twenty-five young participants from the region of the Western Balkans were invited by CDRSEE to meet, discuss, and create strategies for a brighter future. First, the participants were trained in transitional justice tools, leadership skills, and management. Second, they were asked to come up with innovative ideas toward their common vision of the region. The group concluded with three projects: the Balkan Cafe, CellNet, and Caravan Fest. The same group met once again in a second workshop in Skopje to discuss feedback they received from their regions and new ideas for the future. As a whole, the project helped empower the youth of the region and create a life-long network of potential future leaders.
